The SCA Undergraduate 2011 opening night was on Tuesday night and there were a lot of friends and people attending to check out the amazing artworks. I was a little underwhelmed by the works (Comparing to COFA Annual 2010) but nevertheless the works are inspiring.
I ended up staying around my works and greeted people that came along with free beer from the Heineken keg that Christopher Nheu gave me (Thanks brother! finally had a reason to drink it all!) I ended up drunk all night and enjoyed it with the best of friends. I eventually ended up at Ma Sa Ba (Kenny Son’s restuarant) and drank more before ending the night early and refuging back at Grace’s.

On Thursday night, I went to Chris Yee’s Pin-Up show and moved around King’s Cross and Darlinghurst, enjoying Grill’d burgers and $5 Gin&Juices at Ching-a-lings. It was my first time at the joint and just sitting down for about 20 minutes I heard a lot of my favourite songs. Even played OutKast after I requested for some Wu. Definitely the next place I’ll be when I’m down for good music and cheap drinks.

Saturday I went back to SCA to see the rest of the show. A lot of crazy works and of course my favourite wall of Chinese Waving Kittys pictured above (Photo courtesy of graceytt from instagram) before ending up at Vaucluse beach and just relaxing. It was a great weekend being spoiled by loved ones, hot weather, Splice and Pringles.
