Playing with Crez’s brush pens, I love the way they flow especially when compared to a felt-tip. They have variables that I cannot yet control creating a degree of chance in my drawings.
I decided to draw Crez but in a more loose form, I tried hard but it ended up making him look a little off and creepy.
And my voluntary contribution to today. Valentine’s Day.

A concept drawing for my next painting for Etsy. I’m pursuing these ‘punchline’ paintings for Etsy to build a rolling momentum before I tackle the big painting.

I was drawing some figures to possibly use in this submission for ‘dampspace’ but I ended up not doing it since I didn’t like my initial sketches. Eventually Qwux from RahCollective who’s organising this ‘moist’ project tells me I have til the end of the day to submit something, I was hesitant at first since I didn’t want to produce these grotesque girls (I can’t draw girls and especially their bodies for shit) but eventually after a few hours of googling ‘doggystyle’ and looking at Jessica Alba’s butt I’ve ended up with an inky mess and some lettering I like. Hopefully the poster will make it.
